Sublimation printing is actually based on a natural chemical process in which a solid substance goes directly into a gaseous state, bypassing the liquid state.

Thanks to this, a design printed with sublimation inks on sublimation paper can be transferred to a polyester textile or materials coated with a special polymer using high temperature and pressure in a heat press.
